EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan recently committed to using the 2022 RFS volumes as a jumping off point for 2023 and beyond. However, EPA has now proposed lackluster biomass-based diesel volumes for 2023, 2024 and 2025. The proposal is out of step with projections of the clean fuels industry's growth from other federal agencies and supportive policies from Congress
